With the organizational support of the State Tourism Agency and Azerbaijan Tourism Board, the tourism opportunities of Azerbaijan are presented at the International Mediterranean Tourism Market (IMTM) fair in Tel Aviv, Israel.

In addition to the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, a total of 14 local tourism and hospitality industry representatives are participating in the fair, including "Azerbaijan Airlines" CJSC, Shahdag Mountain Resort, and Mountain Jews Museum.

The visitors are informed in detail about the history of Azerbaijan, cultural heritage, national cuisine, traditions, mountain-ski centers, winemaking, golf, health, mountain and winter tourism opportunities, as well as the ancient Jewish heritage in our country.

Within the framework of the exhibition, there were held bilateral meetings with representatives from Israel and other participating countries and also there were organized interviews with media representatives.

It should be noted that 23,935 Israeli citizens visited Azerbaijan in 2022.

In addition, on February 14-17, the delegation of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board is participating in the Global Tourism Innovation Forum held in Israel. The main goal of representation at the forum is the creation of an interactive map of the Great Caucasus Slow Food travel route..

It should be mentioned that the tourism representation of Azerbaijan has been operating in Israel since 2021.
